Welcome to Shrewsbury Town Football Club

Based on Oteley Road, Croud Meadow has been the home of Shrewsbury Town Football Club since 2007.

The purpose-built stadium has a capacity of 9,875 across four stands. Away supporters are based in the DM Recruitment North Stand. The stand can hold up to 1796 away fans and includes platform seating for disabled fans.

Signage around the stadium complex will guide you to the stand which is situated behind one of the goals.

Some matches may be all-ticket and in this case, you must purchase your tickets from your own club. However, if we are selling tickets on a matchday, the Away Stand has its own ticket office which is situated on the outside of the DM Recruitment North Stand.

Shrewsbury is the county town of Shropshire and is set on the banks of the meandering River Severn. The town itself has a long history and many of the buildings date back to the 16th century and beyond.

Shrewsbury has a lovely mix of high-street stores and local boutiques and there are many pubs, restaurants and bars scattered across the town centre.

Larger flags are only allowed subject to permission on application prior to the match and written confirmation and certification that they are inherently fire retardant or have been treated for fire retardant properties.

Flags can be draped across seats where space permits. Please ask a steward for advice on the day.

Flags must not contain anything that might be considered abusive or offensive.

Drums that are contained within an individual’s seat space are normally allowed subject to permission on application prior to the match.

Larger drums and any other type of musical instrument may be allowed subject to permission on application prior to the match.

Drums and musical instruments should not be used to the extent they cause a nuisance to fellow supporters.

We are situated next to the Meole Brace Retail Park where you can find a number of different food and drink options, including McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Costa Coffee and Starbucks.

If you are looking for something a little stronger then The Wild Pig and Charles Darwin Pubs are the best options. Both are just a 10 to 15-minute walk away from the ground and serve a range of beers, ciders and spirits. They also offer hot meals and matchday parking.

Towards the end of the 2016/17 season, we installed a new Fanzone which is situated next to the Community Football Hub outside the DMOS People Stand. The Fanzone plays live music and have food and drink available. It is open to both home and away fans.

Once in the ground we provide catering inside the concourse. This includes a selection of Wright’s Pies, Rollover hot dogs, a selection of crisps and chocolate, hot and cold drinks and alcoholic beverages.
