Hall goes to Aldershot on loan

31 January 2013

Asa joins The Shots until the end of the season

Shrewsbury Town midfielder Asa Hall has joined Aldershot on loan for the rest of the season.

It's a good move for all parties with Hall, who has found first team chances hard to come by in recent weeks, now having the chance to show what he can do for Aldershot as they bid to climb away from the lower reaches of the League Two table.

"At present we have a lot of cover in midfield and Asa hasn't been featuring," said Shrewsbury manager Graham Turner.

"With the chance of him getting some good game time at Aldershot, we think it's a move that is benefical for us both."

Hall, a summer signing from Oxford United, has started four League One games for Town this season, coming off the bench in 11 more, scoring twice in the 2-2 draw against Colchester United at the Greenhous Meadow in October.
