Skipper departs Town after agreement on contract is reached
Tamika Mkandawire has left Shrewsbury Town, after it was mutually agreed that his contract would be cancelled.
The 31-year-old moved to the Greenhous Meadow last summer, after leaving Championship side Millwall.
The defender was a regular last season, making 42 appearances, the last of which came at home to Crewe Alexandra on Good Friday.
Mkandawire is the second player to leave Town today, following on from Dave Winfield.
Shrewsbury would like to thank Tamika for his efforts while at the Club, and wish him good luck in the future.
