Academy players in attendance for final game of the season
Shrewsbury Town’s Academy players will be in attendance at Saturday’s game against Southend United.The Academy have enjoyed a highly successful year with six players being offered their first professional contracts.
Players from all the age groups will be paraded around the pitch at half-time and we would appreciate supporters giving them a big round of applause to celebrate their achievements this season.
Meanwhile, Town’s seven new scholars for next season will also be unveiled as will six players who have signed pre-scholarship deals with the club.
This is an exciting time for Shrewsbury Town’s Academy and we look forward to welcoming them all to the Greenhous Meadow.
