It's same again for Town as Graham Turner sticks with the same side that started in the 2-1 win over Carlisle United. Luke Rodgers who was as doubt has declared himself fit after over coming an illness.

Town got off to a great start and were in the lead with less than a minute on the clock. Town cleared their lines from a Bury attack, Rodgers flicked on and Sodje looked to have it under control but slipped and this allowed Morgan to have a run at goal, he had Parry free to his right but chose to run at goal, he looked to have taken it too far and a Bury defender slid in, Morgan did enough to see the ball through to Aaron Wildig and he hit in a low drive that gave Carson no chance.

The lead only lasted 10 minutes when a break from Bury saw them with a lot of space to hit Town down the right with Worrall, he then had acres of space to thread a ball to put Matt Doherty in on goal and he kept his nerve to slid the ball under Weale to level things.

It was still a very open game with 15 minutes on the clock with both sides looking lively going forward but a little rushed at the back. Town were causing problems with balls in behind the Bury defence but Bury were also putting on the pressure and Weale had to be alert on a number of occasions to snuff out of the danger.

Things seemed to have calmed down a little and Town had a good chance just before the half-hour mark, calm work at the back from Gayle and Wildig saw Morgan run onto a ball and take play to Bury, he pushed out wide and put in a good cross to find Rodgers who got a header in on goal that Carson did well to block but the assistant had flagged for Rodgers being offside.

Town had to be alert at the back as well and when Parry misplaced a pass it allowed Wylde to get a run in on goal, he got to the edge of the box and drove in a shot that Weale did well to get down and block, he couldn't hold on it and just as a Bury striker was about to pounce Jermaine Grandison came across to get in a very important block and snuff out the danger.

Town were finishing the half strongly with Taylor creating some good openings from balls in to the Bury box. A Couple of chances fell to Morgan who got shots in on goal but he just lacked that clinical touch at the important moment or that extra moment of time, Rodgers also had a good sight of goal from a corner, he shot from a tight angle but Carson was in the right place to palm the ball away.

With the final kicks of the game Wildig nicked the ball off Healy,Taylor nicked in and took the ball towards the Bury goal, he had options and lifted a nice ball in to the box to find Morgan, he held his marker off and then drove in a good looking shot but it took a deflection at the vital moment and went behind for a Town corner.

Town started the half with a change in personnel with Rob Purdie on to replace Paul Parry in a straight swap.

Bury had the best chance of the opening minutes when a cross found space at the backpost for a Wylde, he drove in a shot that took a deflection off Jones but the post was there to save Town's blushes. From the resulting corner the ball found Sodje unmarked at the backpost but luckily Purdie was alert and came in with a header just at the important moment and blocked.

With 15 minutes of the half gone Graham Turner made his second switch of the evening bringing on Ryan Doble to replace Luke Rodgers, Luke had been doubtful before the game but had put a good shift in over his time on the pitch.

It was still an open game but Town were holding their own and were starting to get a few more attacking chances after some early pressure from Bury. Morgan did well to put Wildig in on goal, he stabbed a shot in on goal that Carson blocked but when the ball came back to Doble he was the victim of a very late offside flag.

Town were back in from on 68 minutes and it was another wonder strike from Jon Taylor, it started when Ryan Doble received the ball in the centre of the park, he took the ball down and played a ball to find Taylor on the right, Skarz was with him and he tried to put Taylor wide but he had enough of a sight of the goal to drive in a superb shot that flew past Carson at his near post.

Town then had chances to add to the lead minutes later, the first from Marvin Morgan when he found the space to run in on goal, he kept his nerve and then hit in a low shot that Carson did well to block but Morgan might have taken the option of a square ball to set-up up Doble. Then moments later Doble went close after Goldson had headed the ball back across the goal after finding space at the backpost.

Town were forced into a change with 10 minutes remaining on the clock, Jon Taylor had gone down with what looked like cramp and the Town camp were taking no chances and made a quick decision to replace Taylor with Joe Jacobson.

As the half time Town were still pushing much to the frustration of manager Graham Turner as a number of passes were being hit early, rather then Town holding onto the ball and keeping possession in the Bury half. This was handing possession back to Bury and despite Weale making a couple of important saves, Bury managed to grab an equaliser with Schumacher heading home on the 45 minute mark to make it an even more nervy 4 minutes of injury time.
